Check this browser.
Measure what it can actually do.
Two bounded browser experiments: WebGL image processing and a WebGPU integer check. Neither enrols a worker or proves commercial feasibility.
A useful operation,
not an animation.
This test inverts the RGB values of an original 64 × 64 synthetic image using a fragment shader. Every returned channel is checked against an independent JavaScript reference within one byte of rounding tolerance.
No automatic processing. Maximum 2,000 small dispatches. About 64 KB of explicit data allocations, plus driver/browser overhead. Actual GPU utilisation, temperatures and power cannot be measured here.
Synthetic input
Shader output
A passing result proves the graphics-API computation returned correct data. It does not independently prove hardware acceleration or access to the device’s full GPU capacity.
Not started. No remote inputs, uploads or telemetry.
Reports remain local until you choose to share them. Check device/browser details before sharing. Page hiding and navigation stop further submissions; already submitted commands may finish. Browser or driver stalls can delay stop controls. This is a light bounded test, not a stress test or AI benchmark.
Can this browser run GPU compute?
A small WebGPU correctness check adds one to 256 integers. It measures end-to-end elapsed time, not AI throughput or power draw. It cannot prove device support, background execution or commercial permission.
Not started. No background processing. GPU utilisation and electricity use cannot be measured here.
What this check establishes
One bounded compute operation
The check requests a WebGPU adapter and adds one to 256 integers. All outputs are checked for exact correctness. Elapsed time includes setup and transfer.
What it cannot establish
Free VRAM, power consumption, sustained AI throughput, background availability, device-platform permission or supported GPU marketplace participation.
The stop button prevents further work from being submitted and destroys the device. Already-submitted GPU commands may finish. Leaving the page visible is required; hiding it stops the check.
